THE WORK
There are no shortcuts in this work. The fastest way out is through.
Many people assume “the work” is talking about their childhood and relationship trauma ad nauseam. Being aware of how our past informs our present is important, but if we stay there for too long, we could get lost.
While the scars we bear affect how we react to new experiences and relationships, the goal is to build emotional tolerance to our wounds rather than remain victim to them. Otherwise, no matter how promising a new experience, healthy relationship, or career opportunity may be, we will find a way to self-sabotage, react, or avoid.
The intention behind this work is to uncover our inherent potential for healing, debunk old stories, and create meaning out of our suffering. We are not the lies we told ourselves we were. There are no mistakes, only lessons. There is purpose in our pain and meaning in the madness.
We might not understand why things happen the way they do. Some things won’t ever make sense. But the meaning we create in even the most devastating of circumstances can shine light in dark corners.
After death comes rebirth. This is not the end, it’s the beginning.

APPROACH
Feminist
I recognize that patriarchal systems harm everyone by creating rigid expectations and limiting roles that don't serve our authentic selves. Together, we'll examine how these structures impact people of all genders and how a patriarchal society impacts our thought patterns, beliefs and the roles we take on in relationships. We'll also explore concepts like mental load and invisible labor, examining the burden of managing household responsibilities, emotional care, and family logistics.
LGBTQ+ Affirming
I provide a safe, affirming space where your identity and experiences are fully respected and celebrated. My practice is grounded in understanding the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, including navigating identity development, family dynamics, discrimination, and internalized messages. Whether you're exploring your identity, dealing with coming out, or addressing relationship concerns, I'm here to support you.
Trauma-Informed Care
I understand that trauma affects each person differently and can impact how we relate to ourselves and others. Using a trauma-informed lens means creating safety first, recognizing trauma's widespread impact, and emphasizing your resilience and healing capacity. We'll work at your pace, building on your strengths while addressing the ways trauma may be showing up in your current life. This approach honors your survival strategies while gently opening space for new possibilities.
Strengths-Based
I believe you already possess the tools and wisdom needed for healing and growth. My role is to help you recognize, access, and build upon your existing strengths and resources. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we'll identify what's already working in your life and how to expand on those successes. This collaborative approach emphasizes your expertise in your own life while providing support and new perspectives to facilitate positive change.
Honoring Neurodivergence
Being neurodivergent—whether you’re autistic, have ADHD, OCD, or experience the world through another form of cognitive variation—can deeply shape how you experience relationships, emotions, and communication. In our work together, we’ll explore how your nervous system and cognitive patterns impact everything from connection to overwhelm, pacing to decision-making. This is a space where stimming, silence, tangents, and emotional intensity are understood. We won’t pathologize difference—we’ll make space for it, learn from it, and build tools that work with your brain, not against it.
